Over the continental divide between David and Bocas
Following on from the last post, I rejoined the road that runs from David over the continental divide to Chiriqui Grande, Almirante and Changuinola. These are the mainland towns that connect via ferry or water taxi to the islands of Bocas del Toro. Panama only has 2 roads that run from north to south between the oceans, the Transistmica which connects Panama city to the Atlantic port of Colon, and this one that crosses the mountain ridge in the Chiriqui province. beautiful mountains…good for trekking. i hope i can be here someday.
